The EIRA chair is not only a comfortable but also conscious choice, aligned with the sustainability goals of modern workspaces.
Up to 43% of it’s components are made from recycled materials. The upholsteries used to cover the chair are certified according to environmental standards – Oeko-Tex standard 100 and EU Ecolabel – and include the sustainable Tale mesh.
Functionality and long-lasting, EIRA is designed for circularity; therefore, when it eventually reaches the end of it’s life cycle, you can ensure it’s sustainable end-of-life management – 80% pf it’s components are separable and recyclable, resulting in an estimated overall recyclability of 68%.

Most of our operator, task, visitor, meeting chairs, and soft seating are manufactured here in the UK at our Rothwell factory.

We stock Narbutas Nova U, A, & Wood leg single and double bench desks for prompt delivery.
Matching pedestals, cupboards, bookcases, tables, and screens are also in stock.

Steel cupboards, workshop & janitor cupboards, filing cabinets and under desk mobile pedestals are stocked in our warehouse.

As you know, we have maintained stable pricing for several years.
However, sustained increases in transport, energy, wages, and other operating costs now make a price uplift necessary to protect the long‑term viability of our business.
Foam costs alone have risen significantly, with a 3% increase in March followed by a further 12% in April.
After reviewing our operating margins, and to ensure we continue to deliver the quality and service you expect, we will be implementing a 4% price increase effective Monday 1st June 2026.

The Sonata features an ergonomically shaped “shirt tail” backrest that cradles your upper back and kidney area, helping maintain proper posture and reduce fatigue.
It also uses a heavy‑duty 3‑lever mechanism that allows independent adjustment of seat and back tilt. That means you can fine‑tune both your seating angle and backrest angle separately for maximum comfort.
Back height is adjusted via a ratchet system, letting you change the back’s height even while seated.
The Sonata isn’t just about comfort — it’s also built to last. Every unit comes fully assembled and is backed by a 5‑year guarantee.
Steelco also ensures the chair supports users up to 150 kg (23.5 stone), reinforcing their commitment to robust, inclusive design.
